In addition to the usual reviews and comments you would find on a horror movie blog, this is also a document of the wonderfully vast horror movie section of the video store I worked at in my youth.

Alternately...

As you know, I will not be partaking in Platinum Dunes' newest atrocity, so in lieu of that tragedy I'll just link to some past THS posts celebrating Wes Craven's most famous nightmare.

Last November, I commemorated the twenty-fifth anniversary of the release of A Nightmare On Elm Street by pulling out some of my old goodies. Click here to check them out.

Also that month, I read Robert Englund's book Hollywood Monster. Here's what I had to say about it.

More recently, some friends and I revisited a few of the old films (namely part one, three & seven) for shits and giggles. Click here for my thoughts on those.

I can't stop you from lining Michael Bay's pockets this weekend, but I promise I won't hold it against you if you do.*

On The Mend.

Here's a random set for this installment of Coverbox Wednesday while I get back on my feet. Enjoy!

I'm Baaaaaaack.

Hey all. I just wanted to drop in and let you all know that I survived my trip to Sin City, but I'm going to need a few more days to recuperate from all that transpired there. I may throw up some coverboxes tomorrow, but I won't be back in full force until Friday. Until then, have a great week!

It Came From The Archives 3.6!

I hope you've been enjoying these throughout the week, as they were certainly a pleasurable walk down memory lane for me. The remainder of the cards (#77-89) were promo stills for the 1991 Fangoria-produced vampire flick Children Of The Night.

And of course, what collectible card set would be complete without a checklist!

These last two below are the Chromium Cards that came included in the box. Their glossy surface didn't really come through in the scan though, unfortunately.

So, that's the collection! Since I'm away there will be no DKTM tomorrow, but I'll check in with you on Tuesday to get things back on track here. Until then, keep it bloody.

It Came From The Archives 3.5!

Here are cards #61-76. Don't forget you can click on the images if you want a closer look, or to perhaps partake in the 'Terror Trivia' on the backsides.

It Came From The Archives 3.4!

Okay, we're halfway through. Here are cards #46-60.

I think Child's Play 2 was the first horror that I saw in the theatre by myself. I still remember there was some retarded kid yelling at the screen for the first half-hour, until someone finally told him to shut up.

You know I've never seen Motel Hell. I'll have to rectify that one of these days.

You mean, like Hellraiser III?!

Then tell us them Clive, tell us! Speaking of, I wonder how that screening of the restored Nightbreed went last month in Indianapolis?

Robocop is not amused!

I remember video checklists! *sigh*
