I heard some bad news while driving into work this morning. Legendary make up effects artist and creature creator Stan Winston died this past Sunday in California after a long battle with cancer. He was 62. Stan's career spanned four decades and he worked on dozens of films. His impact on the effects business is immeasurable. He ranks up there with the best in my opinion. Here are just some of his contributions to movie history that I'm sure you will all recognize.
Rest in peace, Stan. You gave us all some great nightmares over the years.
