In addition to the usual reviews and comments you would find on a horror movie blog, this is also a document of the wonderfully vast horror movie section of the video store I worked at in my youth.

Black Tuesday.

Tonight's the night! My compadre Tal & I will be participating in the latest Black Museum debate, arguing that Sally Hardesty is the Greatest Final Girl.

It should be a bloody affair and when the dust settles I will attempt to give you a blow-by-blow as impartially as possible -- no promises.

Wish me luck and I'll see you back here at the end of the week.

Hey man. I just wanted to leave you a comment and let you know that i love your blog. I found it over a year ago and went back through (almost, I think) all of the posts, reading up on projects you are working on and your opinions on all things horror. I have been doing a podcast for the last ten years, so I know how daunting it can be to update constantly and have focus to keep doing something like this. That being said, your output is pretty prolific. Again, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the work you put into this. It is always a great read and a good way to stay current on new things coming out. Keep up the fantastic work!!

Thank you very much Sherlock, that's very kind of you to say. It's been a long journey to be sure, and I'm fortunate to live in a city where there is always stuff to write about.

Thanks for reaching out! What's the name of your podcast?

It's called 'A Damn Movie Podcast'. Not so clever name. Myself and the other host are both named Adam. We do dumb stuff, super heavy cerebral stuff, new and old and just about everything in between. We strive for insight, comedy, and several beers. We just posted Ep. 281 last week. adamnpodcast.com if you are interested.

Cool, do you have the older ones archived somewhere? Seems like I'm getting broken links before Episode 50.

Yeah, we actually were just looking at that the other day. We had them archived at something called "Jellycast" which banked them as .movs. You can find the first 25 here: http://movie1339.rssing.com/chan-4729991/all_p1.html And when you download them, try opening them in itunes and it should work pretty well. The other 25 we need to re-up, which I am going to start doing soon.
