Actress Ingrid Pitt passed away yesterday, two days after her seventy-third birthday. She was perhaps best known for her work with Hammer Films, including The Vampire Lovers and Countess Dracula. She was also an accomplished writer, having penned ten books, including The Bedside Companion for Vampire Lovers and her autobiography Life's A Scream.
