Trailer Tuesdays: The Keep

Today's trailer, apropos of nothing, is for Michael Mann's underseen supernatural horror film The Keep.

So brooding and mysterious, eh? You know what else is mysterious? Why this hasn't gotten ANY KIND of digital release!!! I mean I know the word on the street is that there are rights issues with the music in the film, but come on! Who wins by not having this little gem reach a wider audience?

This film has so much going for it...

White-eyed Scott Glenn, awesome production design, pre-Magneto/Gandalf Ian McKellen, Jurgen Prochnow & Gabriel Bryne and Nazis getting their comeuppance. Oh, and this fucking guy!

Now that I'm looking at him again, I wonder if the Resident Evil folks didn't fashion some of their big bads on this cat...
